Chaos – not Victory – is the Empire’s “Name of the Game”
By Peter Koenig Global Research
“Once again a country “liberated” by the West is sinking deeper and deeper into chaos.” Global Research.
This could be anyone of the countries in conflict, where Washington and its Western and Middle Eastern stooges sow war – eternal chaos, misery, death – and submission.
This is precisely the point: The Washington / NATO strategy is not to ‘win’ a war or conflict, but to create ongoing – endless chaos. That’s the way (i) to control people, nations and their resources; (ii) to assures the west a continuous need for military – troops and equipment – remember more than 50% of the US GDP depends on the military industrial complex, related industries and services; and (iii) finally, a country in disarray or chaos, is broke and needs money – money with hardship conditions, ‘austerity’ money from the notorious IMF, World Bank and other associated nefarious ‘development institutions’ and money lenders; money that equals enslavement, especially with corrupt leaders that do not care for their people.
That’s the name of the game – in Yemen, in Ukraine, in Syria, in Iraq, in Sudan, in Central Africa, in Libya…. you name it. Who fights against whom is unimportant. ISIS / ISIL / IS / DAISH / DAESH / Al-Qaeda and whatever other names for the mercenary killer organizations you want to add to the list – are just tags to confuse. You might as well add Blackwater, Xe, Academi and all its other successive names chosen to escape easy recognition. They are prostitutes for the Zionist-Anglo-Saxon Empire, prostitutes of the lowest level. Then come elite prostitutes, like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and other Gulf States, plus the UK and France, of course.
President Hollande has just signed a multi-billion euro contract with Qatar for the sale of 24 Rafale fighter jets. He is now heading to Riyadh for talks with the Saudi King Salman, and to sell more Rafale planes – it’s good business and helps killing off the fabricated enemies; and also to attend a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit on 5 May. Topics of discussions at the meeting are the ‘crises’ of the region including in Yemen, planted by the west on behalf of Washington (and its Zionist masters) and blamed on the ‘rebels’ who are seeking merely a more just government.
The west has invented a vocabulary so sick, it’s like a virus ingrained in our brains – or what’s left of it – that we don’t even know anymore what the words really mean. We repeat them and believe them. After all, the MSM drills them into our intestines day-in and day-out. People who fight for their freedom, for survival against oppressive regimes, are ‘terrorists’, ‘rebels’. – The refugees from Africa, from the Washington inflicted conflict-stricken countries, the refugees of whom more than 4,000 have already perished this year trying to cross the Mediterranean for a ‘better life’ – they have been conveniently renamed ‘immigrants’. Often the term ‘illegal’ is added. Thus, the west’s conscience is whitewashed from guilt. Immigrants are beggars. Illegal immigrants belong jailed. They have nothing to do with unrest and chaos planted by the west in the ‘immigrants’ home countries. – Shame on you, Brussels!
Back to chaos – Mr. Hollande knows very well that his jets are being used to serve the master and spread more havoc in the region, more death, more disaster, more misery, more slavehood – more refugees drowning in the Mediterranean Sea – more everlasting chaos, people at the edge of survival, people who can no longer fight for their country, for their resources, for their freedom – as they must just fight for their sheer survival, for the survival of their kids and families. That’s empire.
Tell me – is someone who sells weapons, fighter planes – other types of killing machines, to countries, knowing quite well that these weapons are being used for killing people, for destroying countries – is such a person not a mass-murderer? A war criminal of the worst kind?
Mr. Hollande, in addition to being a war criminal, he is a perfect bigot who believes at the end of the day a few crumbs of the Big Loot will fall into his plate – and that he may swim with his masters in a lush sea of milk and honey. Does he think he has to safe the economy of his grand country that produced the likes of Victor Hugo, Stendhal, Balzac, Dumas – by selling killing machines to other stooges of the empire? – Does he not care that 83% of his electorate despise him?
Spreading unrest, chaos, misery – that is what Washington and its vassals do best. They do not want to ‘win’ wars; they want eternal chaos, misery; people who can be subdued easily – full spectrum dominance, they call it.
And since the US army and its big brother (or sister) NATO cannot be everywhere, doesn’t want to be seen everywhere, they hire to kill. Washington invents and creates, then funds with its endless money stream, the ISILs, Daesh’s, AlQaedas – and the repertoire grows as the masters please – to fight for them, to kill for them, to produce chaos and false flags – so that eventually they – NATO and the Pentagon bulldozer – can come in and make believe ‘destroying’ those mercenaries that they generated in the first place. But the mainstream media won’t tell you the truth.
They have you believe that the Houtis, a secular humanitarian left-leaning group of Shias, and the Sunnis are fighting each other in Yemen for power; that the Saudis and their GCC cronies are just freeing Yemen from a bunch of terrorists; that the Houtis are supported by Iran (a predominant Shia country) – recently vehemently denied by a UN official – so, the Houtis have to be subdued. At the same time there is more reason for Washington to put yet another blame on Iran. Once the Houtis are dominated and killed off in sufficient numbers, a puppet president will be put in place, like the ex-President Saleh, or his successor Hadi, so that Washington can keep calling the shots – oppressing the country’s population to maintain unlimited access to the strategic port of Aden – and to the Gulf.
Ukraine is the same: Are ISIS / ISIL/ Daesh, Al Qaeda, or whatever their names may be, in the Ukraine? – You bet they are, under the command of CIA and some 6,000 US troops, trainers of course. They train the Kiev troops how best and fastest to kill their brothers in the Donbass; they train them how to create lasting chaos. And if the soldiers refuse to be trained to kill their brothers, the Kiev Nazi regime will shoot them as traitors. Point blanc. So easy. So that nobody will resist.
Not least, the US military ‘advisors’ and CIA with the help of their hired killers, the Kiev Nazis, the ISIS / Daesh / AlQaeda, are attempting to provoke President Putin into war – possibly a third World War. Yes, the third in less than hundred years, potentially devastating Europe, and possible the world. So far, the world has been spared this disaster, largely thanks to Mr. Putin’s wise strategy of non-confrontation.
So – no question whether the ISIS / Daesh / AlQaeda are in the Ukraine. They are everywhere the empire orders them to be. That’s what they are paid for. That’s what prostitutes do. Especially created prostitutes; well-paid prostitutes. Ideology is just a fig leave, conveniently used by the western media – so we all may believe that the Muslims are evil, some even more than others. The west must fight them, because they are a serious and present danger for our freedom, our liberty our democracies – and especially our neoliberal everything-goes free market values.
Because that is the ultimate goal: humans as a market commodity, dispensable, reducible to cannon fodder, to be killed off in masses by (poisoned) genetically modified food, by drones, by bombs, by artificially created famine, so that at the end the survivors are serfs to a small elite which controls the four corners of the globe and ALL its resources, to maintain a lifestyle of exceptional people – yes, the exceptional nation, will be reduced to a bunch of exceptional people living in grand splendor.
Remember Henry Kissinger’s infamous words, the vision of one of the most atrocious war criminals still alive today – another Nobel Laureate (sic) – spoken some fifty years ago: “Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world.”
These words ring truer every day. But only as long as we allow it; as long as We, the People, We the 99.999% of the globe’s inhabitants, allow it.
A Democratic Muslim Brotherhood Is A Deadly Mirage
by Richard Galustian
It may come as a surprise to many Americans that the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has enjoyed strong support both from the United States and Britain for many years. It is, after all, an organization rejected as fanatical by the vast majority in the Muslim world.
Washington and London’s support stems in part from the belief that the MB represents “moderate Muslims.” Amidst today’s critical debate over extreme Islam and radical politics, both countries regard the MB as a “reasonable” alternative platform for promoting democracy.
It is a mistake of epic proportions.
There are two other salient reasons MB operates with impunity and with the implicit protection of the U.S. and the UK.
The first is money. Lots of it. America and Britain give MB’s global misdeeds a pass in order to ingratiate themselves with the wealthiest of benefactors — Qatar. Qatar is massively rich and massively active in both countries, investing in real estate, hotels, airline links, and media. Qatar brags of its $35 billion U.S. investment. Its $700 million built the new Washington City Center. In the UK, Qatar invested over $33 billion. Projects there include Europe’s tallest office block, the Shard.
Business and politics are inextricably linked and Qatar money funds a variety of Mid-East political factions. This includes Muslim Brotherhood parties in Libya and Egypt, the latter of which is home to ousted MB president Mohamed Morsi.
The second reason is that President Barack Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron are desperate to retain a strong voice in the Middle East and North Africa region. Long before President Obama’s presidency, Washington think tanks were churning out pro-MB policy papers calling for the DC establishment to accept the MB as the “voice of reason.” President Obama apparently heeded the call, and with gusto, symbolically opening up the White House to MB supporters in the United States.
What both the U.S. and the UK fail to realize is that the Brotherhood is no friend to them and certainly no friend to democracy. As is the historical precedent with similar national socialist organizations, the Brotherhood is happy to use democracy to ascend to power, but once there, has no interest in reciprocity.
Egypt is a good case in point. Before being removed from power, the MB was deep into the forced Islamization of the country. It failed, miserably. The great majority of Egyptians had come to loathe Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood, and especially the direction they were taking the country. Those who condemn Morsi’s 2013 ouster as a military coup d’etat are misinformed. It was, in reality, a massively public rejection and overthrow.
(None will soon forget, either, the outrageous but “true-color” outbursts of the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader, Yousef al-Qaradawi, concerning Hitler’s “appropriate” punishment of Jews.)
It’s happening in Libya as well, albeit in a slightly different fashion. After being overwhelmingly rejected in last year’s elections, the Brotherhood’s political wing, the Justice and Construction Party, turned to violence to force the exile of the legitimate government. Its members in the previous parliament have reconstituted themselves in a rump legislature, refusing to accept there were free and fair elections and claiming they are still in power in Tripoli. Delusional and intransigent, but entirely in character.
Libya’s Muslim Brotherhood has effectively propelled that country into civil war. And Libyans are dying in large numbers, in part thanks to support from Washington and London, both of whom have adopted the puzzling view that the MB holds a political legitimacy on par with those who were actually chosen by the people.
For its part, the MB is careful not to identify itself as an extreme rightwing organization, but it cannot hide the truth. The MB is a classic national socialist movement, possessed of an ideology that it is determined to force upon hundreds of millions of non-accepting Muslims.
What is both ironic and tragic is that in working with the MB, and trying to force the Brotherhood on a region that does not want it, the U.S. and the UK are ensuring they themselves will be rejected by the very people they want to continue to influence.
It is already happening. In Libya, the democratically elected parliament and the government are taking an increasingly wary approach to London and Washington, who they see as having betrayed them. The Saudi-led Arab coalition’s decision to launch airstrikes on Yemen without first consulting or even notifying the U.S. or London is just the latest example of the West’s waning influence.
So it would seem then that Washington and London’s decision to use the MB as a midwife to appeal to former and/or future al-Qaeda/ISIS supporters on the strength of its supposed “moderate Muslim” credentials is ill-advised and thoroughly counterproductive.
As alliances shift in the Middle East and North Africa, the U.S. and the UK are losing ground and missing the obvious. The MB is fractured. Its ‘Dawa faction’ is becoming ever more radicalized by pro-ISIS and al-Qaeda groups. The MB in Libya and in Jordan epitomize that progression.
By helping and harboring an undemocratic and politically toxic MB, the U.S. and the UK are doing the very thing that they have spent so many years attempting to prevent: allowing sovereign states to become safe havens for international terror groups.
The United States and Britain must stop looking for the moderate Muslim in the MB: It is a deadly mirage.
Paris attack designed to shore up France’s vassal status: Roberts
A former White House official says the terrorist attack that killed 12 people on Wednesday in Paris was a false flag operation “designed to shore up France’s vassal status to Washington.”
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, who was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal, made the remarks in an article published on Thursday.
“The suspects can be both guilty and patsies. Just remember all the terrorist plots created by the FBI that served to make the terrorism threat real to Americans,” he wrote.
He said that the French economy is suffering from the US-imposed sanctions against Russia. “Shipyards are impacted from being unable to deliver Russian orders due to France’s vassalage status to Washington, and other aspects of the French economy are being adversely impacted by sanctions that Washington forced its NATO puppet states to apply to Russia.”
Dr. Roberts stated that French President Francois Hollande this week said that the sanctions against Russia should end. “This is too much foreign policy independence on France’s part for Washington.”
He added that the CIA has apparently resurrected a policy that it followed against Europeans during the post-WW II era when the US spy agency would carry out attacks in European states and blame them on communist groups. ****(That would be the Operation Gladio Sponsored Terrorism in Europe)
Dr. Roberts said now the US agencies have planned false flag operations in Europe to create hatred against Muslims and bring European countries under Washington’s sphere of influence.
He noted that “the attack on Charlie Hebdo was an inside job and that people identified by NSA as hostile to the Western wars against Muslims are going to be framed for an inside job designed to pull France firmly back under Washington’s thumb.”
The widely read columnist stated that the US “government tells Americans whatever story the government puts together and sits and laughs at the gullibility of the public.”
US, ominously, deploys Beecroft as Ambassador to Egypt
Christof Lehmann (nsnbc) : The United States deployed Robert Stephen Beecroft as Ambassador to Egypt. Beecroft is the first U.S. Ambassador to the North African country since the U.S., in 2013, following the ouster of Mohamed Morsi, limited relations to Chargé d’ Affaires.
Ambassador Beecroft succeeds former Ambassador Anne Patterson who represented a consistent pro-Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood U.S. foreign policy that also was consistent with the United States overt and covert involvement in the 2011 “Arab Spring” a.k.a. “The Great Muslim Brotherhood Project” and the US/UK/Turkish, Qatari, and Israeli led attempt to bring about comprehensive change in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Ambassador Anne Patterson became Ambassador two years before she left Egypt in 2013, that is, at a time that coincided with the onset of the so-called Arab Spring. After leaving Egypt in 2013 she was promoted and became the Obama administration’s Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs.
It is noteworthy that the Muslim Brotherhood linked Mohamed Morsi became a member of the “Ikhwan” while he was studying in Egypt. It was, however, during his PhD studies in the United States, that Morsi became introduced to powerful U.S. American think tanks and, according to many analysts, put into a position that later enabled him to attempt an Islamist Coup d’ État via abuse of Egypt’s governmental institutions. Following the ouster of Morsi, the current President of Egypt, Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi, referred to the same context in an interview with journalist Larry Weissman, saying:
“The people of Egypt are aware of the fact that the USA has stabbed Egypt in the back with the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi. It is nothing that Egypt will easily forget, or forgive”.
Robert Stephen Beecroft began his career in the U.S. Foreign Service in 1994 and served as Assistant Secretary for Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice. Beecroft also served at U.S. embassies in the Jordanian capital Amman, the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh as well as in the Syrian capital Damascus.
Beecroft also served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in the Iraqi capital Baghdad in July 2011, and was promoted to Chargé d’ Affairs by the Obama administration when Ambassador James Jeffrey left the country in June 2012. Later that year the U.S. Senate would confirm Obama’s nomination of Beecroft as Ambassador to Iraq. His promotion to Ambassador coincided with the marked increase of Saudi attempts to destabilize Iraq’s Al-Anbar province.
Several analysts and Washington-based pundits expected that the Obama administration would nominate the former U.S. Ambassador to Syria, Robert Ford for the post of Ambassador to Egypt. It is likely that Egypt would have objected against Ford for a number of reasons and would rather have maintained Egyptian – U.S. relations at the level of Chargé d’ Affairs instead. Ford is considered as one of the main executives behind the U.S.’ involvement in launching the war on Syria with death squads and Muslim Brotherhood as well as Al-Qaeda linked terrorist brigades.
Beecroft’s track record, however, also puts him into the category of U.S. diplomats with a long-standing experience in the United States’ involvement in everything spanning from covert operations, subversion to overt and illegal war. The latter includes the covertly U.S.-backed war on Iraq with ISIS as proxy mercenary force or enemy, depending on utility.
Egypt is currently fighting an insurgency by the ISIS a.k.a. Islamic State linked Ansar Bayt al-Magdis in the North Sinai province and is struggling with stemming up the flow of arms and insurgents into the country via the Egyptian – Libyan border.
