On Friday, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain listed 59 individuals and 12 entities linked to Qatar on its banned terrorist lists, including five Libyan nationals who, since the counter-revolution that destroyed Libya, continued to play suspicious roles in Libya and contributed to the continuation of chaos, promoting  the division of the country with Qatari support.

Ali Mohammed Mohammed Al-Salabi

Belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood, a Salafist Libyan preacher, has a good relationship with the leaders of the Libyan Fighting Group, which contributed to the dialogue between the group and the Libyan state, ending in the release of members of the fighting group from Libyan prisons.

He has long lived in Qatar and holds dual nationality, and is a member of the Qatar-funded Union of Muslim Scholars.

Called Ali mamed mamed asalabi in Libya –  ” a man of Tamim in Libya” or “Al – Qaradawi to Libya,” he  was marketed by  Guenah aldzerh as the spiritual father of the Libyan counter- revolution. Defending its interests he often appeared on Al – Jazeera, sometimes as a sheikh, and sometimes a political analyst, sometimes as a military analyst.

Abdul Hakim Belhadj

He is described as a patron of Qatari interests in Libya. He is one of the most prominent leaders of groups indirectly associated with al-Qaeda , a former al-Qaeda terrorist and LIFG leader who took part in the war in Afghanistan.

The LIFG was founded in Libya in the 1990s, a jihadist organization formed by Libyan elements returning from fighting in Afghanistan.

He was arrested  Abd gam hadj in Malaysia in February 2004 by the passport and immigration office under the alias, Almkhabrat alomirkah , then deported to Bangkok for interrogation by the CIA, and then deported to Libya on March 8, 2004, where he was imprisoned in Abu Salim prison for six years, before his  released in March 2008.

After the counter-revolution that toppled Libya’s socialist government, Belhadj soon became a billionaire. He headed the Watan Party and assumed the role of commander of the military junta in Tripoli. He founded the Wings Aviation Company and owns several planes that provide dozens of flights daily between Tripoli and other countries.

After several countries cut ties with Qatar, Belhadj expressed his absolute sympathy with the State of Qatar, and expressed  his contempt for what he saw as an unfair attack on the  Libyan contras.

Mahdi Al-Harati

Is an Irishman of Libyan origin, commander of the Tripoli Brigade in Libya, a former assassin in Kosovo and  Iraq . He lived in Ireland for 20 years and came to Libya at the beginning of the 2011 counter-revolution. He led the Tripoli rebel battalion against the Libyan armed forces in 2011,  paving the way for the National Transitional Council to enter the city.

Mahdi al-Harati was the first to come to Syria to fight alongside the terrorist groups. He founded and led the militias of the Umma Brigade, which included Libyan and Syrian fighters.

Ismail al-Masalabi is currently the commander of the “Benghazi defence brigades” which have also been included in the terrorist list. They are linked with al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda organisations  which fought the Libyan army in the Crescent region a few months ago.

Many call him “the bat of darkness” in Libya because of his secret meetings and movements with suspicious parties, and he was closely associated with Qatari intelligence chief Ghanem al-Kubaisi, who is considered the first man of Qatar in Libya and supported by money and weapons.

Rival Militias Are Terrorists Belonging to the Presidential Council (GoA)

Armed confrontations between the Baqarah and Da’a forces continued in Muaitika (Mitiga) of the Al-Wefaq government (Government of Accord) and the number of wounded and killed on both sides increases. Many of the abductees managed to escape and return to their homes.

It is noteworthy that the Government of Accord’s special deterrent force (Al Qaeda-LIFG) have been holding hundreds of citizens for years without presenting them to the Public Prosecution.

Many of the detainees were abducted by kidnappers for ransom. Criminal gangs have been bargaining with their families to obtain substantial sums of money in exchange for their release.

The Myth of ‘Moderate Rebels’

The Myth of ‘Moderate Rebels’

Hillary Clinton and her Moderate Rebels joining hands to fight war on terrorism. Isn’t that grand? Most of her assisting staff when working in the White House are connected to Muslim Brotherhood. What does that tell you?

US ally Abdelhakim Belhadj is now leading ISIS in Libya should come as no surprise to those who have followed US policy in that country, and throughout the region. It illustrates for the umpteenth time that Washington has provided aid and comfort to precisely those forces it claims to be fighting around the world.

THE GO TO MAN FROM AMBASSADOR STEVENS, DEBORAH JONES, ENGLISH AMBASSADOR MICHAEL AARON AND HE IS THE MOST HATED MAN IN LIBYA.

According to recent reports, Abdelhakim Belhadj has now firmly ensconced himself as the organizational commander of the ISIS presence inside Libya. The information comes from an unnamed US intelligence official who has confirmed that Belhadj is supporting and coordinating the efforts of the ISIS training centers in eastern Libya around the city of Derna, an area long known as a hotbed of jihadi militancy.

_81052882_libya_strikes_624v2While it may not seem to be a major story – Al Qaeda terrorist turns ISIS commander – the reality is that since 2011 the US and its NATO allies have held up Belhadj as a “freedom fighter.” They portrayed him as a man who courageously led his fellow freedom-lovers against the “tyrannical despot” Gaddafi whose security forces at one time captured and imprisoned many members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), including Belhadj. Belhadj betrayed all his comrades to the Libyan authorities after he was turned over by the USA as present and good will towards the Jamahirya, that is how the Jamahirya government could catch most of the members of LIFG in exchange that he would be released a few months later. Belhadj stayed in prison 6 months and another 6 months in house arrest he was never tortured by the Libyan government but was interrogated by the CIA/MI5 agents. Once he signed the papers of allegiance to the Jamahirya he was the free citizen to go as he pleases. He was captured in 2004 and released in 2005 and not in 2010 as all the western media reports.

Belhadj served the US cause in Libya so well that he can be seen receiving accolades from Sen. John McCain who referred to Belhadj and his followers as heroes. He was initially rewarded after the fall of Gaddafi with the post of military commander of Tripoli, though he was forced to give way to a more politically palatable “transitional government” which has since evaporated in that chaotic, war-ravaged country.

belhaj_mccain_libya_terrorists_
Belhadj’s history of terrorist activity includes such “achievements” as collaboration with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Iraq, and of course his convenient servitude to the US-NATO sponsored rampage across Libya that, among other things, caused mass killings of black Libyans and anyone suspected of being part of the Green Resistance (those loyal to the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya led by Gaddafi). Although the corporate media tried to make a martyr of Belhadj for his alleged torture via the CIA rendition program, the inescapable fact is that wherever he goes he leaves a violent and bloody wake.

THEY ARE A GREAT BUNCH THE MOST HATED LIBYANS IN LIBYA

While much of this information is known, what is of paramount importance is placing this news in a proper political context, one that illustrates clearly the fact that the US has been, and continues to be, the major patron of extremist militants from Libya to Syria and beyond, and that all talk of “moderate rebels” is merely rhetoric designed to fool an unthinking public.

There is ample documented evidence of Belhadj’s association with Al Qaeda and his terrorist exploits the world over. Various reports have highlighted his experiences fighting in Afghanistan and elsewhere, and he himself has boasted of killing US troops in Iraq. However, it was in Libya in 2011 where Belhadj became the face of the “rebels” seeking to topple Gaddafi and the legal government of Libya.

New York Times reported:

The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group was formed in 1995 with the goal of ousting Colonel Qaddafi. Driven into the mountains or exile by Libyan security forces, the group’s members were among the first to join the fight against Qaddafi security forces… Officially the fighting group does not exist any longer, but the former members are fighting largely under the leadership of Abu Abdullah Sadik [aka Abdelhakim Belhadj].

So, not only was Belhadj a participant in the US-NATO war on Libya, he was one of its most powerful leaders, heading a battle-hardened jihadist faction that constituted the leading edge of the war against Gaddafi. Nowhere was this more clearly demonstrated than when the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) took the lead in the attack on Gaddafi’s compound at Bab al-Aziziya. In this regard, LIFG was provided intelligence, and likely also tactical support, from US intelligence and the US military.

The US-NATO war on Libya was waged by terrorist groups overtly and tacitly supported by US intelligence and the US military. Moreover, it dovetails with other information that has surfaced in recent years, information that shines a light on how the US exploited for its own geopolitical purposes one of the most active terrorist hotbeds anywhere in the world.

According to the recent reports, Belhadj is directly involved with supporting the ISIS training centers in Derna. Of course Derna should be well-known to anyone who has followed Libya since 2011, because that city, along with Tobruk and Benghazi, were the centers of anti-Gaddafi terrorist recruitment in the early days of the “uprising” all through the fateful year of 2011. But Derna was known long before that as a locus of militant extremism.

Almost 19% of the fighters in the Sinjar Records came from Libya alone. Furthermore, Libya contributed far more fighters per capita than any other nationality in the Sinjar Records, including Saudi Arabia… The apparent surge in Libyan recruits traveling to Iraq may be linked the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group’s (LIFG) increasingly cooperative relationship with al-Qa’ida which culminated in the LIFG officially joining al-Qa’ida on November 3, 2007…The most common cities that the fighters called home were Darnah [Derna], Libya and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with 52 and 51 fighters respectively. Darnah [Derna] with a population just over 80,000 compared to Riyadh’s 4.3 million, has far and away the largest per capita number of fighters in the Sinjar records.

And so, the US military and intelligence community has known for nearly a decade (perhaps longer) that Derna has long been directly or indirectly controlled by jihadis of the LIFG variety, and that city had acted as a primary recruiting ground for terrorism throughout the region. Naturally, such information is vital if we are to understand the geopolitical and strategic significance of the notion of ISIS training camps associated with the infamous Belhadj on the ground in Derna.

This leads us to three interrelated, and equally important, conclusions. First, Derna is once again going to provide foot soldiers for a terror war to be waged both in Libya, and in the region more broadly, with the obvious target being Syria. Second is the fact that the training sites at Derna will be supported and coordinated by a known US asset. And third, that the US policy of supporting “moderate rebels” is merely a public relations campaign designed to convince average Americans (and those in the West generally) that it is not supporting terrorism, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

The news about Belhadj and ISIS must not be seen in a vacuum. Rather, it should be still further proof that the notion of “moderates” being supported by the US is an insult to the intelligence of political observers and the public at large.

For more than three years now, Washington has trumpeted its stated policy of support to so-called moderate rebels in Syria – a policy which has at various times folded such diverse terror groups as the Al Farooq Brigades (of cannibalism fame) and Hazm (“Determination”) into one large “moderate” tent. Unfortunately for US propagandists and assorted warmongers however, these groups along with many others have since voluntarily or forcibly been incorporated into Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS/ISIL/DAESH.

Recently, there have been many reports of mass defections of formerly Free Syrian Army factions to ISIS, bringing along with them their advanced US-supplied weaponry. Couple that with the “poster boys” for Washington policy, the aforementioned Hazm group, now having become part of Jabhat al Nusra, the Al Qaeda linked group in Syria. Of course these are only a few of the many examples of groups that have become affiliated with either the ISIS or Al Qaeda brand in Syria, including Liwaa Al-Farouq, Liwaa Al-Qusayr, and Liwaa Al-Turkomen to name just a few.

What has become clear is that the US and its allies, in their unending quest for regime change in Syria, have been overtly supporting extremist elements that have now coalesced to form a global terror threat in ISIS, Nusra, and Al Qaeda.

But of course, this is nothing new, as the Belhadj episode in Libya demonstrates unequivocally. The man who was once Al Qaeda, then became a “moderate” and “our man in Tripoli,” has now become the leader of the ISIS threat in Libya. So too have “our friends” become our enemies in Syria. None of this should surprise anyone.

But perhaps John McCain would like to answer some questions about his long-standing connections with Belhadj and the “moderates” in Syria. Would Obama like to explain why his “humanitarian intervention” in Libya has become a humanitarian nightmare for that country, and indeed the whole region? Would the CIA, which has been extensively involved in all of these operations, like to come clean about just who they’ve been supporting and what role they’ve played in fomenting this chaos?

I doubt any such questions will ever be asked by anyone in the corporate media. Just as I doubt any answers will ever be furnished by those in Washington whose decisions have created this catastrophe. So, it is for us outside the corporate propaganda matrix to demand answers, and to never let the establishment suppress our voices…or the truth.

WHO WILL PAY THE DAMAGES DONE TO LIBYA? “NATO Leaders Guilty Under US Code of Providing Material Support to Terrorists”

NATO Leaders Guilty Under US Code of Providing Material Support to Terrorists

This article is by Tony Cartalucci posted in “Infowars” but before I post the article my question to the International community is WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THE DAMAGES DONE BY NATO LEADERS AND THE TREE SUPER POWERS WHICH IS FRANCE, UNITED KINGDOM AND U.S.A. KNOWN TO ALL LIBYANS AS F.U.K.U.S?

Will these countries PAY compensation for the DESTRUCTION OF A WHOLE LIBYAN NATION? Will these countries together with NATO be HELD ACCOUNTABLE BY THE ICC? Will these countries compensate the MOTHERS that lost their infants? The Genocide of BLACK LIBYANS BY THE THOUSANDS? Will these countries compensate for GENERATIONS TO COME FOR THE 60.000 SORTIES WITH DEPLETED URANIUM BOMBED IN OUR COUNTRY, YOU HAVE ONLY TO TAKE A LOOK AT IRAQ’S DEFORMED CHILDREN? Will these countries compensate LIBYA’S INFRASTRUCTURE WHICH WAS DESTROYED BY THEIR GREED TO TOPPLE THE JAMAHIRYA GOVERNMENT AND MURDER IN COLD BLOOD THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY? When Will these countries pay for all the terror they have brought to smaller nations just because we want to be INDEPENDENT FROM THE ROTHSCHILD’S BANKING SYSTEM AND FROM THE CORPORATIONS WHO WANT TO STEAL OUR RESOURCES?

Libyan Rebels Listed by US State Department as Terrorists

“Whoever knowingly provides material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization, or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both, and, if the death of any person results, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life. To violate this paragraph, a person must have knowledge that the organization is a designated terrorist organization (as defined in subsection (g)(6)), that the organization has engaged or engages in terrorist activity (as defined in section 212(a)(3)(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act), or that the organization has engaged or engages in terrorism (as defined in section 140(d)(2) of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Years 1988 and 1989).”-USC S 2339B. Providing material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations

In March 2011, the London Telegraph reported that Libya’s rebels had direct ties to Al Qaeda and that both leaders and fighters had spent time in both Iraq and Afghanistan combating US troops. The article titled, “Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qaeda links” featured Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, who had been captured by the US after fighting Americans in Afghanistan, returned to Libya, and released under a bargain for Hasidi and his Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) militants to abandon extremism and become productive members of society. Quite obviously, and with the US, UK, and NATO’s help, Hasidi and his men went back on this bargain and are now sowing murder and mayhem across Libya.

The New York Time more recently reported in an article titled, “Exiled Islamists Watch Rebellion Unfold at Home” that LIFG has “renounced Al Qaeda and are part of the mosaic of rebel fighters united under the umbrella of the Transitional National Council, the opposition leadership that the United States formally recognized as Libya’s legitimate government.” Of course, “renouncement” is exactly what these very same men did to be released from Qaddafi’s prisons in the first place before immediately taking up arms and laying waste to the nation. The New York Times also notes that exiled LIFG leader Abu Sohaib, currently being harbored in London, is unable to return to Libya because he and LIFG is a listed terrorist across the Middle East and throughout most of Europe, including the UK. His LIFG fighters are noted as having “combat experience in Iraq or Afghanistan,” and that they are part of the “social fabric of eastern Libya,” namely Benghazi, Tobruk, and Darnah in a region often referred to as Cyrenaica.

NATO Leaders Guilty Under US Code of Providing Material Support to Terrorists WestPointStats

Image: Taken from a US West Point study, these graphs created by data obtained in Iraq clearly show that Libya’s eastern region, and the cities of Darnah and Benghazi in particular, provided by far more militants found fighting US troops in Iraq than any other nation, including Saudi Arabia. An apt summary of the report can be found at Tarpley.net. (click image to enlarge)

To get a clearer picture of just how much of the “social fabric of eastern Libya” these Al Qaeda LIFG fighters make up, a study from West Point US Military Academy indicates that this region produced more foreign fighters per capita found in Iraq than any other nation including Saudi Arabia. The vast majority of these fighters came from Darnah and Benghazi, the latter being the epicenter of the current Libyan rebellion. The report, explained in detail by geopolitical analyst Dr. Webster Tarpley, proves just how understated the New York Times article is in portraying these terrorists as “part of the social fabric of eastern Libya.” The facts prove quite clearly that terrorism is the social fabric of eastern Libya.

Just this week, the UK Independent provided its readership with a watered down headline that reads, “Rebel military chief says he was tortured by CIA.” The article indicates that the current rebel leader, Abdulhakim Belhaj (aka Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi) is in fact an LIFG founding member, with combat experience in Afghanistan against the Russians, omits that he was also involved in fighting US troops there in 2001, but does mention that he was held by the CIA, then the Libyan government before taking command of NATO-backed rebels in Libya. The Daily Beast reports in an article titled, “Libya’s Powerful Islamist Leader,” that Belhaj was in fact, face-to-face with Osama Bin Laden back in the 1980′s, and that the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) is listed by both the U.S. State Department and the British Home Office as an international terrorist organization.

NATO Leaders Guilty Under US Code of Providing Material Support to Terrorists LIFGlisted

Image: A screenshot taken directly from the US State Department website showing the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) clearly listed as a foreign terrorist organization. This is important, as US Code prohibits providing material support to listed terrorist organizations. With revelations of Al Qaeda and LIFG fighters leading the Libyan rebellion with NATO-members’ full military, financial, and diplomatic support, attempts are being made to plea ignorance as to the true nature of the rebels. Listed below LIFG, is MEK, an Iraqi/Iranian group also being armed and supported by the US. (click on image to enlarge) ****(as we already know by the revelations of Clinton’s & Obama’s on Benghazigate scandal, the late Stevens was working with the leader of LIFG who is non other than Abdulhakim Belhaj together they moved arms – money – jihadists – sex slaves women and children from Libya to the border of Turkey – Syria were they were met by CIA people who then took over from there. I will let your imagination to make your own conclusions on who murdered the late Stevens it was not the Sharaia or Lifg they would not bite the hand that feeds them.)

With the corporate media’s help, Belhaj/al-Hasidi and his men are being portrayed as reformed terrorists despite the fact that they are still LIFG fighters and LIFG itself is still listed as an international terrorist organization. And while many will applaud the corporate media for coming forward with this information, it should be noted that Pepe Escobar first broke this story on Russia Today, and the US and British propaganda outlets have merely been forced to address the growing public awareness of who these “pro-democracy” rebels really are and what role the US and British governments have had in betraying their people by providing material support for men who literally killed US and UK troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan over the 10 year “War on Terror.”

According to US Code Section 2339A & 2339B, the leaders of NATO, along with the US, UK, and French governments, are clearly guilty of providing a listed terrorist organization with material support in the most egregious, overt case since the code was written. The staggering scale of training, arming, and providing air support for Libyan Islamic Fighting Group militants, listed by the US State Department itself as a terrorist organization, all done criminally under the guise of “international law” rubber stamped by the contrived UN and bolstered with support from the equally contrived International Criminal Court, may be partially why more people are unable to understand the scope of criminality involved in NATO’s intervention in Libya.

A similar situation exists within Iran, where another terrorist organization, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) are being covertly armed and aided in fighting the Iranian government. US policy makers are fully aware that organizations like LIFG and MEK have US blood on their hands. In fact, their only concern is how using such organizations will appear publicly and how such perceptions might threaten their agendas. In the Fortune 500-funded Brookings Institution report, “Which Path to Persia?” we can see clearly the thought process that goes on behind supporting terrorist organizations. Brookings’ only concern is how to remove MEK terrorists from the US State Department list (listed just below LIFG) so they can be supported more overtly in a Libyan-style military intervention.

“Potential Ethnic Proxies,” page 117-118 (page 130-131 of the PDF): ”Perhaps the most prominent (and certainly the most controversial) opposition group that has attracted attention as a potential U.S. proxy is the NCRI (National Council of Resistance of Iran), the political movement established by the MEK (Mujahedin-e Khalq). Critics believe the group to be undemocratic and unpopular, and indeed anti-American.

In contrast, the group’s champions contend that the movement’s long-standing opposition to the Iranian regime and record of successful attacks on and intelligence-gathering operations against the regime make it worthy of U.S. support. They also argue that the group is no longer anti-American and question the merit of earlier accusations. Raymond Tanter, one of the group’s supporters in the United States, contends that the MEK and the NCRI are allies for regime change in Tehran and also act as a useful proxy for gathering intelligence. The MEK’s greatest intelligence coup was the provision of intelligence in 2002 that led to the discovery of a secret site in Iran for enriching uranium.

Despite its defenders’ claims, the MEK remains on the U.S. government list of foreign terrorist organizations. In the 1970s, the group killed three U.S. officers and three civilian contractors in Iran. During the 1979-1980 hostage crisis, the group praised the decision to take America hostages and Elaine Sciolino reported that while group leaders publicly condemned the 9/11 attacks, within the group celebrations were widespread.

Undeniably, the group has conducted terrorist attacks–often excused by the MEK’s advocates because they are directed against the Iranian government. For example, in 1981, the group bombed the headquarters of the Islamic Republic Party, which was then the clerical leadership’s main political organization, killing an estimated 70 senior officials. More recently, the group has claimed credit for over a dozen mortar attacks, assassinations, and other assaults on Iranian civilian and military targets between 1998 and 2001. At the very least, to work more closely with the group (at least in an overt manner), Washington would need to remove it from the list of foreign terrorist organizations.”

US policy makers, working directly for Wall Street and London corporate-financier interests, clearly have no qualms over using or supporting terrorism, with perception management being their only concern. We see this diabolical methodology, precisely articulated in “Which Path to Persia?” now being executed across Libya verbatim. It looks as if there was not enough time to get LIFG off various international lists of terrorist organizations as Brookings had hoped to do with MEK, and instead a concerted effort by the corporate-media and NATO members is being made to downplay the reality that the US, British, French and Qatari governments are openly sponsoring terrorism. Look for similar narratives as seen in Libya to be used in both Syria and Iran – with militant terrorists portrayed as hapless protesters being oppressed by a brutal government, before a full-scale military insurrection followed by a US led military intervention.

Lets not forget that MI5, MI6, CIA, Mossad and the French Secret agency created these monsters that now they are asking us to feel sorry for them. They are the ones who trained, financed them to topple Qaddafi since the late 70’s. It seems the Guardian thinks or believes or hopes who ever lived in those times are dead or have Dementia, that is the only explanation I can give for them for writing this article.

A secret UK-Libyan rendition programme in which two Libyan opposition leaders were kidnapped and flown to Tripoli along with their families had the effect of strengthening al-Qaida, according to an assessment by the UK security service, MI5.  ****(Ok, now I have to feel sorry for the two Libyan (opposition leaders – really? opposition leaders since when?) because they were kidnapped? Please is MI5 kidding? or what? Belhaj and Al Saadi were known fanatic terrorists from the late 70’s with connections to terrorist groups. Libya was happy as long as they stayed outside Libya and that is why both of them have English passports… no kidnapping or torture had anything to do with it that they were affiliates of Al Qaeda and MI5, CIA, Mossad and most of the secrete agencies knew of them.)

Prior to their kidnap, Abdel Hakim Belhaj and Sami al-Saadi had ensured that their organisation, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), focused on the overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi,*****(just by that it’s a cause for treason, by the way do you know what LIFG stands for? Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, so it was not only to overthrow Qaddafi, but to bring the Caliphate in Libya since 1976 so please MI5 & MI6 stop BULL-SHITING PEOPLE over the handing over and the excuse that while they were in jail the group with new leaders in decided to go nearer to Al Qaeda.)  the classified assessment says. Once handed over to the Gaddafi regime, their places at the head of the LIFG were taken by others who wanted to bring the group closer to al-Qaida.

The two men were seized in Thailand and Hong Kong in March 2004 with the assistance of the UK’s intelligence service MI6, and were “rendered” to Tripoli along with Belhaj’s pregnant wife and Saadi’s wife and four children, the youngest a girl aged six. ****(Let MI5 & MI6 explain why these people have English passports?)

In an assessment made 11 months later, MI5 concluded that the capture of the pair had cast the group “into a state of disarray”, adding: “While these senior-ranking members have always jealously guarded the independence of the LIFG, providing it with a clear command structure and set goals, the group is now coming under pressure from outside influences. ***(Hog wash and that is being polite.)

“In particular, reporting indicates that members including Abu Laith al-Libi and Abdallah al-Ghaffar may be pushing the group towards a more pan-Islamic agenda inspired by AQ [al-Qaida].” ****(they are also your creation and the brother of Libi – Anas al Libi  was charged with the same crimes as his brother or is he one and the same? Either way both are dead and dead people don’t tell tales, one was killed by a drone and the other was kidnapped by the SAS and taken to the USA and conveniently died undergoing an operation prior to his court date. I mean all Secret agencies & western media must think we are morons.)

Two years after MI5 made this assessment, Libi announced the LIFG had formally joined forces with al-Qaida. He became a leading member of the merged organisation and is believed to have orchestrated a series of suicide bomb attacks across Afghanistan, including one in 2007 that killed 23 people at Bagram airfield north of Kabul during a visit by then US vice-president Dick Cheney. Libi was killed in a drone strike the following year.

The classified MI5 intelligence assessment was among hundreds of highly sensitive Libyan and British files that were discovered in official buildings that had been abandoned during the 2011 revolution that led to the overthrow and death of Muammar Gaddafi. ****(Is that why NATO bombed the Intelligence building? So no Secrets would come out to the Light? MI5 & 6 must kill all Libyans because no secret is kept once we decide to open our mouths….that is when you belong to the tribes and if till now your asses are saved you owe it to the tribal leaders.)

The end of his 42-year dictatorship was hastened by Nato air strikes, and was followed by a period of brief and heady optimism. At a rally in Benghazi in the east of the country in September 2011, the British prime minister, David Cameron, and the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, addressed enormous crowds waving their countries’ flags. “It’s great to be here in free Benghazi and in free Libya,” Cameron told them. ***(I would suggest to Cameron to come to see the free Libya now and live for a few days not weeks without his security and lets see whether he will rejoice about the “free Libya”)

But Libya’s new leadership was already struggling to impose its authority on the country. And since then, the country has descended into violence and economic instability, with rival militias shelling residential areas and destroying infrastructure in their fight for supremacy.

Fears that Islamist militants would fill the yawning power vacuum appeared to be realised on Tuesday when gunmen claiming allegiance to Islamic State said that they were responsible for an attack on a Tripoli hotel in which at least five guards and five foreigners were killed.

The papers that were recovered during the revolution show that Britain’s intelligence agencies engaged in a series of joint operations with Gaddafi’s government and that some of the information extracted from victims of rendition was used as evidence during control-order and deportation proceedings in UK courts.

They also show that in 2006, Libyan intelligence agents were invited to operate on British soil, where they worked alongside MI5 and allegedly intimidated a number of Gaddafi opponents who had been granted asylum in the UK.

Another of the recovered documents is a letter that Tony Blair wrote to Gaddafi in April 2007, and whose existence publicly emerged last week. Addressed “Dear Mu’ammar”, Blair expressed his regret that the British government had failed in its attempts to have a number of Gaddafi’s opponents deported from the UK, and thanked the dictator for his intelligence agencies’ “excellent co-operation” with their British counterparts.

The classified MI5 document was prepared in advance of a five-day visit to Tripoli by senior agency staff in February 2005. Marked “UK/Libya Eyes Only – Secret”, it explains that members of the LIFG had been permitted to settle in the UK in the 1990s. This was at a time when Gaddafi, whom the group was plotting to overthrow, was considered to be an enemy of Britain.

The document adds that MI5 reassessed the LIFG’s UK-based members following the change in the group’s leadership that resulted from the detention of Belhaj and Saadi.

“We are actively investigating key individuals in the UK and are seeking to disrupt their activities,” the document says. This action was part of a new strategy “for countering the threat from the LIFG to the UK and its allies” – allies which, by 2005, included the Libyan dictatorship.

Accompanying the document was a list of questions that MI5 wanted Libyan interrogators to put to Belhaj and Saadi. A total of more than 1,600 questions were sent from the UK to Tripoli, in four batches, with MI6 at one point thanking the Libyan intelligence agents for “kindly agreeing” to pass the questions to their “interview team”.

Belhaj and Saadi both say they were beaten, whipped, subjected to electric shocks, deprived of sleep and threatened while being held at Tajoura prison outside Tripoli. ****(so these 2 individuals decided to do the same for 6 million civilians, they have done worse than what allegedly they say they went through, they have killed thousands, burned, kidnapped, rapped men and women, tortured over 100 thousand POW with Guantanamo style torture, I would say they got even in the first 6 months after the illegal war ended in 2011 but no they are still making us suffer after 4 years and you want us to FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR CREATION?)

They say they were also interrogated by British intelligence officers, and Belhaj says he made it clear, by sign language, that he was being tortured. ****(Checking the man he seems to be in one piece with no broken bones, he is not limping and surely his sex life has not stopped with his alleged torture, while the people who he tortures do not come out ALIVE, but in body bags and sometimes cut into pieces so that the relatives can not bury them. He is the worst of the worst torturer’s ever encountered)

After one of these encounters, he says, he agreed to sign a statement about his associates in the UK to avoid being subjected to a form of torture called the Honda, which involved being locked in a box-like structure whose ceiling and walls could be shrunk. ****(Just show’s what kind of man he is!!! to betray his comrades! this guy would betray his own father after rapping him if that would get him something in return this is your Frankenstein enjoy it.)

The discovery of the documents that exposed the existence of the UK-Libyan rendition operations had caused widespread dismay in Westminster, ***(It was not the dismay but that they got caught and revealed what a nice bunch of ‘democratic’ British people are;) even before the emergence of the latest report, which makes clear that one consequence of these operations was that the terrorist organisation that posed the greatest threat to the UK at that time was strengthened.

A criminal investigation into the affair was opened in January 2012 after Dominic Grieve, the then attorney general, wrote to the Metropolitan police commissioner, Bernard Hogan-Howe. After a three-year investigation codenamed Operation Lydd, detectives handed their report to the Crown Prosecution Service last month.

Jack Straw, who was foreign secretary at the time, is among the people who have been questioned by police. His office says he was interviewed as a witness.

The rendition operations also led to damages claims being brought by Saadi – who received £2.2m in compensation from the British government – and by Belhaj. Belhaj is claiming damages on behalf of himself and his wife. She was four-and-a-half months pregnant when the couple were kidnapped, and Belhaj says she was taped, head to foot, to a stretcher for the 17-hour flight to Tripoli, before being jailed for several months.

Belhaj says he would settle his claim for just £3, as long as he and his wife also receive an apology. With the CPS currently considering the police file, this is unlikely to happen.

So to conclude, we HAVE TO FEEL sorry for these two Frankenstein terrorists which are your creation to topple the Jamahirya since the late 70’s and you are trying to justify what they have done to Libya and to its civilians because they were kidnapped but not killed or raped or broken because if they were broken we wouldn’t have this article which is trying to portray them as innocent victims that they took the wrong turn and joined al-Qaida forgetting that LIFG is worse than Al-Qaeda, forgetting that you and the USA sent Belhaj with suitcases of money at the border of Turkey-Syria together with other jihadists to fight against Assad a legitimate government, trying to erase what Belhaj has done in Tripoli since 2012 and onwards and portray him as a new politician and a leader erasing his past as a CIA/MI5/MOSAD  FINANCED TERRORIST. Thank you England, thank you Guardian for services rendered in destroying a nation which was no security threat to your country or to Europe for that matter. So please do not complain for the immigrants that come your way or in the rest of Europe because you and your allies caused it.
