After NATO/F.UK.US/ISRAEL/QATAR/SAUDI ARABIA/TURKEY & U.A.E. bombed Libya illegally and installed their puppets ALQAEDA/MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD/DAESH/FAJR. We do not have the above privileges, you see all who bombed Libya were saying Qaddafi was a dictator and he is going to kill his people all this has been proven without a doubt that it was a blatant lie…… they only wanted to invade Libya so they could steal everything we Libyans had. I sometimes wonder if there is a God but then God has nothing to do with the GREED of the people…. and the stupidity of some Libyans in believing that they would get a democratic government. What most of my brothers and sisters do not understand; there is no democracy and there will never be, what we had been as close to democracy as we could get.
Libya was a literal earthly paradise, before the world unleashed
Their barbaric dogs-of-war upon her.
No one mentions the REPARATIONS that must be paid
To the survivors of that Genocide
France, US Inc., Britain, Sweden, Greece, Germany, Italy and Canada, promoted that war and it was carried out by the UN, NATO and Israel.
This was a massive and totally illegal war that was started and maintained
By lies, lies and more lies the time has come for the criminals
To pay for that crime!
This could all have been stopped if Russia or China
Had dared to block the vote in the UN
But no nation did.
By allowing this to happen, in and to Libya, the global outlaws paved the way for Syria, and Ukraine that will soon be followed by the end of the USA.
The media worldwide joined in creating a fake-firestorm-of-lies that was directed against one of the most prosperous and free nations on this earth. Its people shared directly in the profits from Libyan Oil, the richest oil produced, in which the entire nation had a share. Libya refused the Rothschild’s banks along with US dollars for their oil. Libya was preparing the Libyan Gold-Dinar that threatened the filth that always comes with the exclusive use of US Dollars, to buy oil. Libya had already begun to support many of the other nations in her region of the planet, and therefore she had to go.
Libya discovered and had begun to share in a Pleistocene-Age river of underground water that Libya had begun to develop – to turn the whole of North Africa into an earthly garden, and its people were some of the most well educated and the most free in all the world. Their medicine and technology were superior to most of the nations that attacked her for daring to share her wealth with her own citizens. Libya was free and she enjoyed the luxury of living life to the hilt: before the thunderstorm of lies was allowed to bury Libya before the nation was even murdered.
REPARATIONS are overdue to the Libyan people and are far more necessary than even that which was paid for what was done to the war-torn nations of WWII.
Once this Libyan crime was completed, the whole planet adopted the mantra of how brutal Qaddafi had been to his people. Hillary laughed about his murder, and many a ‘western-want-to-be’ echoed similar lies about what Qaddafi and Libya had been before they slaughtered Libya to the point of global-obliteration.
As a result the planet has seen the remaining Libyan people’ turned into “faceless-homeless-migrants”when in fact they are war refugees in need of help.
But the real crime that has gone unpunished were the Lies behind the War on Libya in 2011 this became the “LIE” that the supposedly leading nations of the world cooperated in completing: Which remains unchallenged to this day.
The leadership from that war, with the exception of USI because it’s far too distant to reach, are all those nations that participated in the genocide of the Libyan population. The French were the leading blood-lust followed by Italy, Britain, Germany, Sweden and the others that jumped on the war-wagons of hellish destruction, to revenge themselves upon a nation that had dared to do what all of them have always refused to do for their own people…
Everyday I listen to the garbage that is still trying to cover-up the horrendous lies behind that unpaid-for war crime, and it still turns my stomach. But I’m not alone: Millions know about what Libya really was and just how much the human race lost when Libya was murdered:In public and in cold-blood that absolutely delighted themselves with the horror that they were bringing to Libya, initially, but to the whole planet now so many years on.
Libya was reduced to SUBMISSION, but the day is coming for those that survived to bring back DEFIANCE into the world that has almost forgotten all the depth of meaning in everything we all do each and every day.
This crime will never be allowed to stand.
The lies behind all of this will eventually surface and those who committed this unthinkable obscenity will pay for that crime one way or another. Meanwhile the reasoning behind the refugees from the Libyan War will continue to seek refuge from the same criminal states that were and still are massively responsible for turning them into globally dislocated war-refugees. There has never been a mystery about any of this. What is transpiring over the global-airwaves is a global-cover-up that will eventually have to be told in every gory detail…
The deaths of all those ‘refugees’ in that boat, will be just the beginning of what will inch by inch be revealed about the corruption’s of this planet worldwide.
War Crime: NATO Deliberately Destroyed Libya’s Water Infrastructure
By Nafeez Ahmed, The Ecologist | Report
The military targeting of civilian infrastructure, especially of water supplies, is a war crime under the Geneva Conventions. Yet this is precisely what NATO did in Libya, while blaming the damage on Gaddafi himself. Since then, the country’s water infrastructure – and the suffering of its people – has only deteriorated further.
Numerous reports comment on the water crisis that is escalating across Libya as consumption outpaces production. Some have noted the environmental context in regional water scarcity due to climate change.
But what they ignore is the fact that the complex national irrigation system that had been carefully built and maintained over decades to overcome this problem was targeted and disrupted by NATO.
During the 2011 military invasion, press reports surfaced, mostly citing pro-rebel sources, claiming that pro-Gaddafi loyalists had shut down the water supply system as a mechanism to win the war and punish civilians.
This is a lie.
But truth, after all, is the first casualty of war – especially for mainstream media journos who can’t be bothered to fact-check the claims of people they interview in war zones, while under pressure from editors to produce copy that doesn’t rock too many boats.
Critical Water Installations Bombed – Then Blamed on Gaddafi
It was in fact NATO which debilitated Libya’s water supply by targeting critical state-owned water installations, including a water-pipe factory in Brega.
The factory, one of just two in the country (the other one being in Gaddafi’s home-town of Sirte), manufactured pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipes for the Great Manmade River (GMR) project, an ingenious irrigation system transporting water from aquifers beneath Libya’s southern desert to about 70% of the population.
On 18th July, a rebel commanderboastedthat some of Gaddafi’s troops had holed up in industrial facilities in Brega, but that rebels had blocked their access to water:“Their food and water supplies are cut and they now will not be able to sleep.”
In other words, the rebels, not Gaddafi loyalists, had sabotaged the GMR water pipeline into Brega. On 22nd July, NATO followed up by bombing the Brega water-pipes factory on the pretext that it was a Gaddafi “military storage” facility concealing rocket launchers.
“Major parts of the plant have been damaged”, said Abdel-Hakim el-Shwehdy, head of the company running the project. “There could be major setback for the future projects.”
Legitimate Military Target Left Untouched in the Attack
When asked to provideconcrete evidence of Gaddafi loyalists firing from inside the water-pipe factory,NATO officials failed to answer. Instead, NATO satellite images shown to journalists confirm that a BM-21 rocket launcher identified near the facility days earlier, remained perfectly intact the day after the NATO attack.
Earlier, NATO forces had already bombed water facilities in Sirte, killing several “employees of the state water utility who were working during the attack.”
By August, UNICEFreported that the conflict had “put the Great Manmade River Authority, the primary distributor of potable water in Libya, at risk of failing to meet the country’s water needs.”
The same month, Agence France Presse reported that the GMR “could be crippled by the lack of spare parts and chemicals” – reinforced by NATO’s destruction of water installations critical to the GMR in Sirte and Brega.
The GMR is now “struggling to keep reservoirs at a level that can provide a sustainable supply”, UN officials said. “If the project were to fail, agencies fear a massive humanitarian emergency.”
Christian Balslev-Olesen, UNICEF Libya’s head of office, warned that the city faced “an absolute worst-case scenario” that “could turn into an unprecedented health epidemic” without resumption of water supplies.
Stratfor Email: “So Much Shit Doesn’t Add Up Here”
While pro-rebel sources attempted to blame Gaddafi loyalists for the disruption of Libya’s water supply, leaked emails from the US intelligence contractor Stratfor, which publiclyendorsed these sources, show that the firm privately doubted its own claims.
“So much shit doesn’t add up here”, wrote Bayless Parsley, Stratfor’s Middle East analyst, in an email to executives. “I am pretty much not confident in ANY of the sources … If anything, just need to be very clear how contradictory all the information is on this project … a lot of the conclusions drawn from it are not really air tight.”
But the private US intelligence firm, which has played a key role in liaising with senior Pentagon officials in facilitating military intelligence operations, waskeenly aware of what the shutdown of the GMR would mean for Libya’s population:
“Since the first phase of the ‘river’s’ construction in 1991, Libya’s population has doubled.Remove that river and, well, there would likely be a very rapid natural correction back to normal carrying capacities.”
“How often do Libyans bathe? You’d have drinking water for a month if you skipped a shower”,joked Kevin Stech, a Stratfor research director. “Seriously. Cut the baths and the showers and your well water should suffice for drinking and less-than-optional hygiene.”
The Truth – Government Officials Were Trying to Keep Water Flowing
Meanwhile, UNICEFconfirmed that Libyan government officials were not sabotaging water facilities, but in fact working closely with a UN technical team to “facilitate an assessment of water wells, review urgent response options and identify alternatives for water sources.”
Nevertheless, by September, UNICEF reported that the disruption to the GMR had left 4 million Libyans without potable water.
The GMR remainsdisrupted to this day, and Libya’s national water crisis continues to escalate.
The deliberate destruction of a nation’s water infrastructure, with the knowledge that doing so would result in massive deathsof the population as a direct consequence, is not simply a war crime, but potentially a genocidal strategy.
It raises serious questions about the conventional mythology of a clean, humanitarian war in Libya – questions that mainstream journalists appear to be uninterested in, or unable to ask.
The world, including the US press, is looking on in horror at recent events in Libya. Libya is now a center of human trafficking, with human beings packed into ships bound for Europe.Libyans are so desperate to escape their country, now wrecked with civil war and astounding levels of poverty, they are risking their lives. Ships filled with desperate human beings have crashed, and a number of corpses have washed up on Libya’s beaches.
Furthermore, the Islamic State organization, which has been terrorizing and murdering people in Iraq and Syria, is moving into action on the African continent. Libyan Christians are being executed by ISIS fighters. *****(As far as I know there are no Libyan Christians in Libya what we do have are Libyan Jews but not Christians. I believe the journalist means the Christian Copts and the Ethiopian Christians)
400,000 people in Libya are declared by Human Rights Watch to be “internally displaced.” In 2014 alone, over 250 journalists, religious and political leaders, and judges have been assassinated. ****We have to thank NATO AND F.U.K.U.S. for all what is happening in Libya and they refuse to take responsibility for their stupidity to topple the previous government and the Leader who was in cold blood murdered but put the blame to Libya.
Is there any rational human being, who can argue that the Libya of today is better off than the Libya that existed prior to 2011?Can any rational, logical case be made that funding the anti-government insurgents, and the eventual US NATO bombing campaign, improved the conditions of the Libyan people?
While the US media has often played up false or exaggerated stories of Cubans fleeing to Miami on rafts, the whole world is seeing how thousands of Libyans are piling into boats, desperately trying to cross the Mediterranean. Just like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, Libya has been destroyed by a campaign of western intervention.
Before the US/NATO Attack
Prior to the foreign backed war and bombing of 2011, Libya had the highest life expectancy on the African continent. The government that emerged from the 1969 revolution, led by Colonel Moammar Gaddafi had resulted in the development of nationalized oil resources.
Every Libyan was guaranteed an income, based on a personal share of the country’s oil profits. Food and housing were heavily subsidized. Libyans received free education and free medical care. The Libyan government constructed the worlds most efficient irrigation system, bringing waterto an extremely dry country.
The huge economic achievements of Libya’s independent economic development were marveled at by people around the world. The “Green Book” that explained Gaddafi’s “Third Universal Theory” was studied around the world by people who were inspired by Libya’s achievements.
Libya funded other peoples who fought for their national liberation. Libyan money went to the Black Panther Party and the Nation of Islam. Libyan weapons and support went to the African National Congress, the Provisional Irish Republican Army, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and many other anti-imperialist armed groups.
What has happened to Libya since 2011 is yet another illustration of the sinister intentions behind US foreign policy. The unfolding chaos in Iraq, the instability in Afghanistan, the continuing campaign of violence and terrorism in Syria, and the horrendous state of Libya are not the result of miscalculations or blunders by western governments.
An Intentional Policy of Destruction
Samantha Power, declared to be the architect of the Libyan intervention has been promoted to the rank of US ambassador to the United Nations. Many of the armed terrorists who fought to destroy Libya have been transported to Syria, and told to continue their efforts.
Libya’s oil exports are a mere 11% of what they were prior to 2011.
The state owned Libyan oil company has been removed from the world market, and what little remains of Libya’s oil infrastructure, is now controlled by western capitalists. Wall Street has retaken Libya for itself, overturning the 1969 revolution. Stability, development, and arguably the most prosperous society on the African continent, has been destroyed.
The results of US intervention are on display in Libya for the whole world to see. Whenever the US media whips itself into a frenzy, talking about “humanitarianism” and the need to “rescue innocent people”, the intervention that results always makes the situation worse. The people the US and its allies intend to rescue, end up far worse off than before.
We should all look at the horror of Libya, and realize that we can never trust US officials, and that all calls for foreign intervention by the United States and the European Union must be loudly opposed by progressive forces.
In this excerpt from Bob Coen and Eric Nadler’s film “Shadow War of the Sahara”, broadcast on the Franco-German channel ARTE charts the rise of the U.S.military’s AFRICA COMAND (AFRICOM). This excerpt reveals why AFRICOM’s chief critic, Libya’s Mohammar Gaddafi, had to be removed from power for the project to succeed.
