Qatar behind the fabrication of fake pages in the name of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi
Libyan sources confirmed that the Qatari intelligence is behind the fabrication of fake accounts on social networking sites bearing the name of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of the late Libyan leader.
The sources told Al-Bayan that Al-Hamdeen’s organization seeks to mislead the public opinion as it has known for years, and that specialized electronic armies are responsible for launching pages on social networking sites to serve agendas linked to Doha and the global organization of the Brotherhood.
Meanwhile, an official in exile, Khaled al-Zaidi’s lawyer Saif al-Islam Gaddafi denied what was published on the social networking «Twitter» site attributed to Saif al-Islam on talk about the relationship with Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Ziadi issued a statement following the publication of an account attributed to Saif al-Islam Gaddafi on Twitter, some of the statements attacking Qatar, and praised the positions of Saudi Arabia in Libya.
Zeidi said: “The characters impersonate the character of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi and” issued a speech in his name in a desperate attempt to mislead and distort and confuse the Libyan political scene at this sensitive stage, and achieve suspicious ends. “
The sources close to Saif al-Islam Gaddafi that the purpose of those statements attributed to him is clear, is to mislead public opinion and show Gaddafi as if directly linked to Riyadh or that the Saudi part of political struggle and in Libya.
Added that another target sought by Qatar by standing behind the alleged statements published on the accounts of fake, is to convince their followers that Riyadh stands behind the Gaddafi family’s attempt to try Al-Hamdeen organisation before the International Criminal Court.
The lawyer of the family of Muammar Gaddafi Khalid al-Zaidi announced that he is following all the rumours and fabrications against the Gaddafi family, threatening their owners to pursue them legally and has begun to raise a number of cases inside Libya and abroad.
He also announced that the Gaddafi family to prosecute the State of Qatar filed a lawsuit against it before the International Criminal Court, noting that the case against the Qatari figures relating to charges related to supporting terrorism and causing the displacement of Libyans. Al-Zaidi said he has the right to sue Qatar under UN Resolution 1970, which Qatar was the same reason for it and that it does not need a new resolution from the Security Council to lift the suit.
