THE GREAT GAME MOVES IN AFRICA
After securing the largest strategic corridor linking the Iranian plateau to the Mediterranean Sea, to avoid a disintegration of Syria as a nation state and spread chaos to the southern steps of Russia, Moscow has almost assured the use of air and naval bases in Egypt (Agreement) and Algeria (no other choice) to contain Libya of tension, a pretext for a remake of the Iraqi chaos in North Africa and the Sahel.
Some private companies specializing in security and mercenary armies in Libya see a new Eldorado has a rich potential for expansion of their activities. It is quite remarkable that a president of a European country, namely France, whose role alongside the United States and the United Kingdom in the destruction of Libya is well established, starts to discuss a possible military intervention on the coast of Tripolitania and Cyrenaica, just hours after the controversial Academy company (Ex-Blackwater) has announced plans to move there.
This veritable private army, the most powerful in the field, and whose very unorthodox methods in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia and Yemen earned him many critics, has been partially acquired by the giant Monsanto. In this context, Emmanuel Macron has turn into mere VRP multinational or transnational corporations that have no common interest with the French people. You understand. This guy runs for extra French private interests.
The pretext for a possible intervention in Libya is degrading treatment reserved for illegal African migrants in transit in Libya by Libyan smugglers networks, often linked to militias that NATO has armed and supported during the war in Libya 2011. These networks have built huge fortunes in Libya and elsewhere through this real informal economy.
In reality, the NATO countries want to intervene militarily in Libya for two main reasons:
First: the two rival governments installed in Libya do not control, at best 10% of the Libyan territory and can no longer contain the powerful Libyan tribal confederations that NATO has marginalised after 2011;
Second: The return of Gaddafi on the political scene after the real fake release of Seif Al-Islam Gaddafi by Zintan initiated a new political and military dynamics in Libya where two governments clash on land dominated by other militias more or less independent, free cities, local potentates with armed forces, foreign mercenaries and adventurers. However, it is not a question for NATO Libya stabilises short – or medium-term because this case will have an impact on the situation in the Sahel, scene of another of chaos spreading operation.
The instability in Libya and the Sahel (the entire band stretching from the Horn of Africa to the Atlantic) serves as a geostrategic tool in Washington and its allies to contain any regional powers allied same ( Algeria, Egypt, for example) but especially to eliminate the Chinese penetration in Africa.
After his undeniable success in the Levant, Moscow is invited on the beds of the empire in Africa to counter the pressure of NATO in Eastern Europe. A good game in perspective.
