The Mirror reports that Iraqi forces claim the man just one of many ISIS soldiers who have been dressing as women to escape a battle zone. Just shows you that they are nothing but wimps…hiding in women’s clothes.

In his bra and dress, this is ­probably not the kind of Jihadi bride we’re used to seeing.

In fact, it’s an Islamic State fighter in drag – only he was in such a hurry he forgot to shave off his mustache.

Iraqi forces claim he’s just one of many ISIS soldiers who have been dressing as women to escape a battle zone in the north of the country.

A bizarre series of snaps posted on Instagram shows a series of glammed – up freshly captured ISIS fugitives.

Many have shaved off their beards and mustaches and slapped on make-up. Some are even pictured wearing silk bras and dresses beneath their burkas.

Arabic captions suggest the pictures were taken in the Baiji area of northern Iraq.

Regular Iraqi forces have fought an almost continuous battle around an important oil refinery there, backed up by US-led air strikes.

Some of the captured ISIS escapees are seen being accompanied by senior ranking officers from the official Iraqi army.

The Instagram account also carries gruesome images of dead ISIS fighters and shows pictures of a poster boy on the front line fighting insurgents.

Abu Azrael – nicknamed the Angel of Death – is a commander with the Imam Ali brigade, an Iraqi Shi’a militia group sponsored by Iran.

The photographs, posted on Instagram, show authorities appearing to pull back burkas to reveal young boys and even men with moustaches. It is not known when the images were originally taken

He is believed to be a 40-year-old former university lecturer who left his home to fight ISIS last June.

Pictures show the bald fighter in his military fatigues, posing with an axe and a heavy machine gun.

Iraqi Defence Minister Khaled al-Obedi said the battle to recapture the key city of Tikrit could be a turning point in the war.

ISIS is defending the area with roadside bombs and suicide attacks but a 20,000 force of Iraqi soldiers and militiamen continue to make gains.
