In Tripoli, the Green flag was raised on a motorway bridge  Kobri. One rebel wanted to remove it. He was killed by a sniper of the Green Strength.
At the port of Tripoli, the head of the customs office, Colonel Noureddine Abouhlala stated that he has seized a large quantity of alcoholic drinks in a 20-foot container from Malta through the agency Taiba. The papers talk about of juice whereas the customs officers have found 600 cases of wine equivalent to 7200 bottles.
